Mid-America Nazarene University
Yesterday we were so honored to gather with students, faculty, board members, and the president of Mid-America Nazarene University. We noticed many similarities as they began to share with us what the Lord is doing at their school to what we've been seeing on campuses around the country. Like many other universities, at MNU there is the contrast between students struggling with their identity, self-worth, and purpose while at the same time having a deep longing for the fullness of God. As a result of that, student led prayer and worship gatherings are beginning to spring up. At these gatherings God is moving! He's giving the students a heart to minister to one another, to pray for healing, and to really love each other as they build Christ centered community. MNU also asked that we pray with them for their students who come from broken homes. A large portion of their student body comes from the inner city and they don't have stable families. The faculty and staff have a huge heart to minister to these students and show them the love of Jesus every day. It was a blessing partnering with these fellow believers in the place of prayer. We are full of fresh faith for all that God wants to do at MNU and we're believe for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit on their campus!
Praying for the President and staff of MNU, that God would surround them with people who will hold up their arms and encourage them.
